Pay: $30 - $32 per hour
Availability: Monday - Friday: Flexibility Between 8:00am-7:00pm (Full-Time)

The Training Lead is responsible for supporting the delivery, consistency, and quality of training across the organization. This role acts as a bridge between Field/Associate Trainers and the Training Manager by mentoring trainers, conducting quality checks, and providing advanced onboarding support. The Training Lead assists with scheduling and coordination, ensures training materials and delivery meet company standards, and escalates issues or trends to the Training Manager. This position combines hands-on training responsibilities with leadership support to drive a positive onboarding experience and improve overall team performance.

Responsibilities
Training Oversight & Mentorship
- Oversee daily training-related communications (e.g., training chats, issue tracking) and escalate concerns or trends to the Training Manager and Director of Training as appropriate.
- Train and onboard any new members of their regions training team, including Field Trainers and Associate Trainers, to ensure they are prepared to meet department standards.
- Conduct regular meetings with their Associate Trainers and Field Trainers to review progress, provide feedback, and address concerns.
- Supply guidance and oversight to their regions Field Trainers to maintain high on the floor training standards.
- Help oversee the Crisis Prevention trainings for Alongside (i.e., Safety Care, CPI)
- Take full ownership of the new hire experience for BTs within their assigned regions/pods, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards and reflects Alongside’s values.
- Own the execution of their regions/pods new hire trainings to ensure engagement and effectiveness.
- Provides coverage for training team members as needed.
Performance Monitoring & Evaluations
- Track and analyze progress for Associate Trainers and Field Trainers in their region/pod, identifying gaps and implementing solutions to enhance competency and performance.
- Supply data-driven insights on staff performance to their regions/pods Associate Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Supervisors, Associate Clinical Directors (ACDs), Clinical Directors (CDs), and Training Teams.
- Maintain accurate data tracking of key performance trends through structured PMCs or other means to drive training enhancements.
- Assists clinical leadership in the RBT competency renewal system for Alongside.
- Determine training effectiveness by conducting new hire check-ins and gathering feedback for improvement in the training department.
- Check in with rotating BTs from different tiers (i.e., new hire trainees, "veteran staff," etc.) to identify areas of improvement for training.
- Lead the recurring cross-department leadership reviews where new hire progress is discussed, next steps are collaboratively determined, and action plans are coordinated to support each new hire’s training journey.
- Tracks regional trainer performance, conducts check-ins, gathers feedback.
- Use regions/pods survey data to make training enhancements and suggestions to Training Manger.
Collaboration & Training Improvements
- Advocate and establish training enhancements by communicating observed performance trends to the Training Manager, ensuring real-world application aligns with training objectives.
- Refine and decide on updates to the 90-day evaluation process by identifying areas for improvement (i.e., survey responses, trainee experiences, etc.) and recommending updates to the Training Manager.
- Collaborate with scheduling and clinical department for improvements to shadowing/mentorship improvement through the new hire training experience.
- Executes training materials as provided, gives feedback for updates.
- Communicate with relevant departments (HR, scheduling and clinical) as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
- Holds active RBT certification for at least one year and be in good standing with the BACB, highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on required duties; seek assistance/direction when discrepancies arise
- Organizational skills to work in a fast-paced work environment with a high volume of changes
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor across all situations
